In 1989 they formed, and by 1991 the attentions of making music had been priority number one for Bone Thugs. At the time they had changed the name of the group once again to B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e. They also adopted new rapping names; Steve Howse was now Layzie Bone the #1 Assassin and Anthony Henderson changed his name to Krayzie Bone a.k.a Leather Face. Stan wasn't in Cleveland to take part in B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e, but the Howse brothers cousin Charles Scruggs was still around and changed his name to Wi$h Bone the Strate Jacket. Bryon McCane the newist addition was now Bizzy Bone a.k.a. Rest In Peace. When Steve a.k.a. Layzie Bone started this group he was using the name Bizzy but gave it to his new best friend Bryon when he realized how intense Bryon can be at times, where Steve is more laidback and chill.

When Steve was sent down to Texas as a result of the Ohio court system he came up with the B.O.N.E. theme. He presented it to the rest of his friends when he returned to Ohio almost a year later. He also came up with "Enterprise" during this time, when he read it on the side of a building. While this was going on Anthony was serving a jail sentence as a result of accidentally shooting Charles in the leg. While they were away Charles and Bryon were becoming better friends kicking it back in East Cleveland. Anthony came up with a new style of rapping while being locked up. He and another inmate talked about speeding up the delivery of words. Making the delivery of rap a faster flow, a little more smoother then usual. Upon his release he took his new style straight to his B.O.N.E. brothers and they were really feeling it. He also learned some street skills while spending time behind bars, this was the time they needed to hustle to survive. Bryon already had his feet in the street work, living in a house with just his sisters, selling drugs was a most to pay rent. There new job was starting to bring there lives down, and once they realized how real there neighborhood was they realized they needed to get out. In 1993 Layzie started to work with Kermit Henderson for Stoney Burke recordings. After two months of sessions between Layzie and Kermit he brought along Krayzie, Wish and Bizzy In the studio pictured above the members that would one day form Bone thugs-n-harmony recorded there first music ever. At East Cleveland One Stop they created there first project titled "Faces Of Death." Stoney Burke wasn't a large company and East Cleveland One Stop didn't get many copies distributed.

After the rest of the group was signed on to do the production Kermit (seen on the right) really liked the company of the young B.O.N.E. friends. He even put them to work at his record store from time to time. Kermit took Bizzy aside and showed him the tools of the trade, teaching him skills of a young entrepreneur. Mr. Henderson would be rewarded by Bone later on in there careers Stoney Burke re released Faces Of Death twice after they found success in California under Ruthless Records. The original with a yellow cover and the remastered recordings with the black cover were both available in 1995. B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e is a much more raw and youthful Bone. They had very creative imaginations and sung about issues that teenagers can relate to.

Bud, Brews and Bitches is the theme of this album, except the occult songs about Hell, the Devil and Death. There youth was very present in there voices at the time this was recorded Bizzy the youngest member was 16 to 17 years old. Faces Of Death also showcased there influences in the Rastafarian lifestyle, and artist like the Isley Bothers and Bob Marley. They used a Jamaican Patois on there songs, something that is very rare in there songs released now a days.
It was after this project the guys in the group decided they really need to push to break out of East Cleveland. Get up out of the streets, and get some real money. They would head to California, and thus the beginning of Bone thugs-n-harmony.
